Hey you guys! My name is Haley, Im 17, and new to this community...Sooo HI!

I would really appreciate it if you could help me!

I designed a bag for sassybb.com's design contest. I worked on it for two weeks straight and had no previous sewing experience.

I am not a designer...and dont sew...but I think it came out pretty well.

Please click the link to vote for me, it would really mean a lot!

I really suck at bleaching things. But im trying to bleach my skirt and was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to do it. I remember doing tyedye when I was small and I remember they made us tie the shirts up in little knots then dye them...i dont want my bleachy thing to end up looking like tye dye but would this be a good way to do it? I dont want to have half a bleached skirt and half not bleached..i want patterns kinda if that makes sense. ok help?suggestions please?

I dont have a picture BUT i would like to share what i did (what youcould do)k. I got a bat stencil (you can make one too, but i got mine from the dollar store--halloween decoration) and i cut out black fabric in the shape of the stencil + straypainted it (you can skip that part) AND sewed the bat patches on a short red skirt. It looks really awsome. I dont know why it seemed more complicated before I wrote it all out...but yes thats all.bottom line is--cute bat skirts are really easy to make.

I've been painting!
I bought this really cheap jacket & decided to make it pretty so i painted it up a bit:

Then i painted an old red vinyl purse. I haven't finished because i don't know what to paint behind the banner, or what to write into the banner:
